Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre is trying to destabilise Congress-led governments in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
“Just because we are with Rahul Gandhi, CM Ashok Gehlot’s brother was raided while I have come to know that illegal phone tapping is going on in Chhattisgarh as well. They are trying to destabilise our state governments,” the Chief Minister said while talking to reporters during a sit-in- protest in front of the Enforcement Directorate office against questioning of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in National Herald case in
New Delhi. Questioning of Rahul Gandhi by the ED officials continued for the fifth day on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Baghel said that the youths are agitated and the entire country is protesting against the Agnipath scheme. Baghel said that the scheme is not in country’s welfare and hence should be rolled back. He added that the BJP wants to end reservation and are saying that the youths retired after four years will be recruited as peons in offices.
