Many pumps go dry after shortage of petrol-diesel in Durg and Bhilai

The shortage of petrol and diesel has started in Durg-Bhilai too. Many petrol pumps of HPCL Company have become dry due to lack of regular supply, which have been closed due to lack of petrol, diesel for an indefinite period.
Presently, HPCL Company has 158 petrol pumps in Durg district. Of these, 80 are operated in Bhilai-Durg.
At the same time, long queues of people are being seen at many pumps for petrol and diesel. Those who fill one liter of petrol are filling up to five liters of petrol in their two-wheeler. The District Administration has swung into action to keep the situation under control. The Food Department has ordered a meeting of petroleum company officials to maintain regular supply of petrol and diesel.
The shortage of petrol and diesel in the district has increased the concern of the common citizens. Due to non-availability of timely supply, many pumps of Durg-Bhilai have become dry.
In which Patel Chowk of Durg, Pulgaon Chowk and Petrol Pump at the Civic Center of Bhilai are included.
All these pumps are of HPCL Company. The stock of petrol in these pumps has run out, while the reserve stock of diesel is left. Amidst the shortage, long queues of people are being seen in most of the petrol pumps for petrol and diesel.
Keeping in mind the shortage, Food Controller CP Dipankar took a meeting of sales officers of petroleum companies. It came to the fore in the meeting that there is a problem with the supply of petrol, diesel only in HPCL Company.
The company official told the food controller that the problem persisted due to non-availability of timely supplies. He also informed that a rake of petrol and diesel has been received.
Few petrol pumps in the district have gone dry. All these pumps are of HPCL Company. Keeping in mind the shortage of petrol and diesel, a meeting of the officials of the petroleum company was called.
