Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik said that the situation in Maharashtra will be clear soon. “I have not contacted anyone in Maharashtra and thus it will not be right to comment on it,” said the Leader of Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.

Kaushik expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the Chhattisgarh BJP for selecting a tribal woman leader as a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the Presidential election. “I personally believe that the Congress should also support Draupadi Murmu for her election as the President of India,” said Kaushik.

On the allegation of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel that the Centre is tapping the phone of Chhattisgarh leaders and creating a disturbance in the state, Kaushik said that the Chief Minister should make it clear as to whose phone is being tapped.
