Raipur,
Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik said that the situation in Maharashtra will be clear soon. “I have not contacted anyone in Maharashtra and thus it will not be right to comment on it,” said the Leader of Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
Kaushik expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the Chhattisgarh BJP for selecting a tribal woman leader as a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the Presidential election. “I personally believe that the Congress should also support Draupadi Murmu for her election as the President of India,” said Kaushik.
On the allegation of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel that the Centre is tapping the phone of Chhattisgarh leaders and creating a disturbance in the state, Kaushik said that the Chief Minister should make it clear as to whose phone is being tapped. Why Centre should tap the phone calls of Chhattisgarh. The Congress politics in Chhattisgarh will explode in future, said Kaushik. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel should introspect as he has failed in his mission in the states of Assam, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, said Kaushik.
The officials and leaders in Chhattisgarh fear to talk even on the genuine issues because of Chief Minister’s ‘terror’. They all feel that Chief Minister is tapping their phone calls. Senior BJP leader and former Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said that
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is in fear of his wrongdoings. Mafia raj and corruption are mushrooming in the state, and black-marketing of fertilizers has led farmers to deep trouble. The Chief Minister is afraid of being exposed and therefore he is blaming the Centre for everything, said Agrawal. On the Maharashtra issue, Agrawal said that the Shiv Sena has deviated from its ideology. It is the internal matter of Shiv Sena, said Agrawal.
