Commander, Chhattisgarh Odisha Sub Area (COSA) Brigadier V Mahanty, SM, accompanied by Col. Rajendra Malik visited Rajya Sainik Kalayan Board (RSKB) office in Raipur city on Thursday. Bragadier Mahanty had a detailed interaction with Director of RSB Brigadier Vivek Sharma (VSM) Retired.

A detailed briefing was given to the visiting team by the Director RSB covering various welfare activities and schemes of both Central and State Government being implemented in the State. The COSA Commander and the Director along with Zila Sainik Officer Capt (IN) Anurag Tiwari, went around the RSB premises and reviewed the under construction Sainik Rest House and proposed CSD complex.

The COSA Commander interacted with ex-soldiers and assured them to address their difficulties regarding availability of CSD and ECHS facilities in distant areas. It was the first formal visit of COSA Commander to RSB during which he was familiarised about various issues of Ex-service men and comprehensive contribution of Sainik Kalyan Offices towards the welfare of ex-soldiers, martyred families and veer naaris of Chhattisgarh.
