CG’s Bhuiyan programme gets IMC Digital Award

Bhuiyan programme of Chhattisgarh State has been awarded at national-level. Bhuiyan software, a project run by the office of the Commissioner of Land Records in Chhattisgarh, was been conferred upon with the prestigious IMC Digital Award 2021 at a grand ceremony held in Mumbai.
The award for excellence in the government sector has been presented to the Office of the Commissioner, Land Records and National Informatics Centre. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal have congratulated the Land Records Department and National Informatics Center for this achievement.
Availability of digitally signed land records, availability of online maps and integration of Bhuiyan with the Registration Department has solved the problem of duplicate registrations, for which this award has been conferred upon. It is noteworthy that Bhuiyan programme has been developed to digitise the land records in State and ensure its availability online for easy access to the people. Bhuiyan software provides online maps, khasra and related land documents, as well as solves the problem of duplicate registry by integrating the registry of property. Bhuiyan programme is a means of bringing transparency in various processes of the Revenue Department. Through this software, 4 crore digitally signed documents have been made available online. In this software, Log-In IDs of the main officers of the departments in the project, Secretaries of Revenue, Food, Agriculture, NCPI, Soil Health, Commercial Tax, Town and Country Planning and Secretaries of many other departments, and District Collector, SDM, Tehsildar, Revenue Inspectors has been created. And more than 3,800 banks have been integrated with Bhuiyan, so that issuing of duplicate loan on any land can be prevented and online entry of loan can also be done. The award was received by Saurabh Dubey, Scientist, NIC as a representative
