The monsoon has already hit Kerala and is moving at a normal pace. It is expected to reach Bhopal on June 15. Earlier, a warning had been issued in 11 districts of Madhya Pradesh regarding thunderstorm squalls and rain. Apart from this, the heat wave has been predicted in 4 districts. As per the information provided by the Meteorological Centre Bhopal, an alert of thunderstorms and rain has been issued in Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur and Agar Malwa districts. This situation will continue till June 5. The department has requested the citizens to conduct their activities keeping in mind the weather. According to the Bhopal centre of the India Meteorological Department, a heat wave is expected to prevail over the Guna, Gwalior, Datia and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in this regard. The department has appealed to the people to stay in their homes if they do not have the necessary work. Think of the weather before going out and if you have to go out, then make arrangements to avoid the heat.
Weather systems are active: Ajay Shukla, former senior meteorologist of the Meteorological Center, said that at present a western disturbance is forming in the form of a trough around Pakistan. A cyclone is forming in the upper part of the air over South-East Uttar Pradesh. A trough is also extending from this cyclone to Bangladesh. Because of this, moisture is coming along with the winds in MP. It is cloudy. According to Shukla, the weather is likely to remain the same for a week now. Thereafter, pre-monsoon activities are likely to intensify.
