Nefarious gangster Mukhtar Malik, who was injured in a gangwar on Tuesday-Wednesday night in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, died during treatment at 10 am on Friday. There are 58 serious offences registered against him. DSP Girdhar Singh of Jhalawar, Rajasthan, said that Mukhtar Malik was found injured in the forest, about a kilometre away from the river. He was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. He died during the treatment.
Mukhtar Malik, a resident of 34 miles area of Raisen district, was active in the world of crime since 1982. Total 58 cases were registered against him in various police stations of Raisen and Bhopal. Presently, he lived with wife Sheeba in Ahata Rustam Khan located in Shyamala Hills. Now, the Rajasthan Police will come to Bhopal to gather information in Mukhtar’s case. There was a gang war between Rajasthan’s Bunty gang on Tuesday-Wednesday night. There was a dispute between the two gangs over fishing in the catchment area of Bhimsagar Dam. After this there was firing between the two gangs and one of the henchmen of Mukhtar gang, Kamal was killed in the gangwar. At the same time, his right hand Vicky Wahid, including Mukhtar, were injured. According to the police, the contract for fishing in the river area of Bhimsagar dam was taken by Bhopal resident Mukhtar Malik a day before the gang war. Late on Tuesday night, Mukhtar Malik was patrolling with 11 labourers in a boat in low water near Kans Khedli. During this, a scuffle broke out with the fishermen living in the village. The dispute escalated so much that stone pelting and firing started from both sides.
Came into limelight by giving death threat to CM Patwa: Mukhtar has threatened even the then Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa in 1990. In 1996, he kidnapped three children from Raisen district for ransom. For this work, he had called crooks from UP. However, the police had rescued the children while killing his associates during the encounter. There are 58 criminal cases registered against Mukhtar in Bhopal’s Talaiya, Bilkhiriya, MP Nagar, Shahjahanabad, Misrod, Jehangirabad, Crime Branch, Habibganj, Hanumanganj, Kohefiza, Obaidullaganj, Sultanpur, Umraoganj police stations of Raisen district. He has been active in the world of crime since 1982 in Bhopal.
Mukhtar’s court gangwar made him talk of the town: Mukhtar Malik, who has become synonymous with terror in Raisen and Bhopal, got famous throughout the country after the gangwar in the State capital’s court in the year 1995. Three miscreants were killed in this gang war of Munne Painter gang. In this case, the High Court had sentenced Mukhtar Malik, Asif Mamu to death. On hearing the sentence, Munne Painter, Mukhtar Malik, Asif Mamu fled the High Court. Later, everyone surrendered. After hearing the appeal, the
Supreme Court acquitted them all. Malik’s house was demolished two years ago: In the past, there was a fierce dispute between two groups over the land dispute in the Ahmadabad Palace located in the Koh-e-Fiza area. During this, shots were fired from both sides. Due to this incident, there was an atmosphere of panic in the area. Two cars were also ransacked. Around 14-15 people from both sides were involved in the fight. In this case, the police had registered a case of attempt to murder on both the sides. The police had registered a case against the notorious crook Mukhtar Malik and his associates on the complaint lodged by Chandrashekhar Pandey. Mukhtar Malik was on the run since then. Two years ago, the police also demolished Mukhtar’s house in Ahata Rustam Khan.
People feared Mukhtar even outside Bhopal: Sometimes even the police were afraid to catch Mukhtar. He himself has surrendered in most of the crimes till now. However, the police have been claiming to have arrested him. Apart from Bhopal, his terror was also in Sehore, Raisen. Presently he started an illegal business of property, minerals. Many builders, officers have been indirect partners in his business.
