Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that we have to save the earth for the coming generation. Everyone can contribute by planting trees to save the earth. We have to discharge our responsibility of protecting the environment for the coming generations by becoming friends of trees and environment. I am overwhelmed by the activities conducted for environmental protection by Subhash Manch in Harda. Workers engaged in Harda's tree plantation campaign will be honoured in Bhopal. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was virtually addressing a massive tree plantation programme organised by Subhash Manch, Harda under “Atmanirbhar Krishak – Atmanirbhar Krishi” (self-reliant farmer – self-reliant farming) on the occasion of World Environment Day from the residence office. Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, senior social worker, environment lover and founder of Subhash Manch, Harda, Gauri Shankar Mukati were present in the programme organised in Harda.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the existence of the earth is in danger due to global warming and climate change. Not as much work is being done to
protect the environment as is needed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target to complete the work within the time limit for environmental protection in India. We all have to contribute to this. Chief Minister Chouhan said that I plant a sapling every day, and I feel complete only by planting a tree. Until I plant a tree, something seems lacking. By planting trees, we are in a way producing fresh air to breathe. Along with giving oxygen, trees provide water to rivers and shelter to many animals. Due to the rise in the temperature of the earth, a terrible situation will arise, the only way to prevent it is to plant trees

Subhash Club pledges to plant 5 cr saplings in Harda, Betul- Hoshangabad-Khandwa, Sehore
Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel informed that Subhash Club has taken a pledge to plant five crore saplings in Betul, Hoshangabad, Khandwa and Sehore including Harda. For this, an agreement has also been made with Mumbai's "Grow Trees" company. On World Environment Day, 400 associates of Subhash Manch and 1.5 lakh farmers are planting saplings on the boundary of their private lands. “Self-reliant farmer-self-reliant agriculture”, is the concept of efficient and scientific management of resources. Under this, it is envisaged to create a provident fund for the farmers by planting teak and fruit trees on boundaries and unusable land. Tree plantation is also being encouraged to protect the banks of rivers from soil erosion and for flood control. This will also help in preventing the pesticides used in the fields from getting discharged directly into the rivers.
