Taking a jibe at the ongoing political drama in Haryana Congress, Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dharamlal Kaushik on Monday said that the Congress party is suffering from a disease called ‘acute deficiency in faith’ across nation. Neither Congress party has faith in its leaders nor the leaders have faith in the party, said Kaushik, adding, the shifting of 28 Congress MLAs from Haryana to Chhattisgarh ahead of Rajya Sabha elections on June 10 with apprehension of cross voting is the consequences of ‘deficiency in faith’.
Kaushik said that the State Government has no matching grant for the implementation of public welfare schemes, but it has adequate funds for entertaining such activities. Hosting 28 MLAs from Haryana is not a low cost affair, said Kaushik while slamming the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on the issue. Chhattisgarh has become the most important centre of political tourism for the Congress, said Kaushik.
On making Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel an observer for the Rajya Sabha elections, Kaushik said that Baghel is not being made an observer for the first time and what impact his presence can bring is known to everyone. At this time the concern of the entire Congress is about protecting the revered family.
