The Agrawal family of Arjuni Morgaon was busy receiving congratulatory messages and calls and attending to a stream of well-wishers visiting them since Wednesday morning. For, their son, Aman Rameshchandra Agrawal, a student of Saraswati Junior College of Arjuni Morgaon, has achieved astounding success in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) examination, results of which was announced in Wednesday. With an impressive score 99 percent marks, Aman is probable State topper.
Aman scored cent per cent marks in Mathematics and Statistics, Physics as well as Chemistry, and obtained 95 marks in English and 199 marks out of 200 in Computer Science. When ‘The Hitavada’ called him up, Aman was blissfully unaware that he was the Vidarbha topper and probable State topper as well. “I was not expecting such a success,” he said.
Aman completed primary schooling from New Moon English School, Arjuni Morgaon and then shifted to CBSE affiliated Siddhivinayak Public School, Taadgaon. Later, he joined Saraswati Junior College. Self study and hard work are the success mantra for the young lad. Aman informed that he used to study for more than 6 hours a day on regular basis. “I never attended any coaching class and focused on self studies. My father is a lecturer and he used to give me model papers to solve which helped me a lot studies.
The guidance of John sir, B N Bagmare, class teacher Indranil Kashiwar and the motivational speeches of Principal Anil Mantri helped me to excel besides the blessings of my grandfather Fulchand Agrawal”, said Aman.
Talking of the online mode of study Aman told that it was like blessing in disguise for him as he used the time saved in travelling to the college for studies. He wants to pursue his passion Computer Science and later try for Civil Services.
Aman’s mother Rajni Agrawal is a housewife and they have a a joint family.
