Five victims lodge molestation plaint against Karate teacher

After registering a First Investigation Report (FIR) against a Karate teacher for raping a minor girl, the Kanhan police on Wedneday registered five more FIRs against the teacher on the charges of molestaiton.
The teacher is Gopal Rameshwar Gondane (40), a resident of Vivekanand Nagar, Kanhan. SP Vijay Magar told ‘The Hitavada’ that Gopal used to molest the girls during Karate classes. “Minor girls were molested by him in the past six months. He was taking the girls to isolated places where he was outraging modesty of the girls under
pretext of sharpening skills of the girls for selection in the Indian army.” He was going to the home of the girls early in the morning to take them on motorycles. This way, Gopal was gaining the confidence of the parents, the SP further
stated. Superintendent of Police Magar appealed to the people to lodge a complaint against the accused at Kanhan police station and assured all sort of help to the victims.
The first case was registered agaisnt the teacher on June 6 when an 11-year-old girl lodged a complain alleging she was raped by the teacher on Jabalpur road early morning.
The teacher used to take Karate training for students at Khandala village near a railway-over-bridge (RoB) from 7 am to 8 am. Before the Karate classes, the students were attending his running classes from 4 am to 5 am, police said.
