Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s media co-ordinator and Madhya Pradesh Congress Media Department’s Vice Chairman, Narendra Saluja has resigned from all the positions he was holding in the party.
Saluja had resigned a day after the formation of the new team of the Media Department. He had expressed displeasure over the formation of the team and said “I am unable to discharge any responsibility given by you (Kamal Nath)”.
Narendra Saluja was playing the role of his media co-ordinator since Kamal Nath became the Congress State President. Recently, when the President of the party’s Media Department, Jitu Patwari resigned, the state Congress President appointed K K Mishra and handed over the responsibility of the department. Saluja was made the Vice-President of that team and his role of media co-ordinator to the state Congress President was also retained.
But Saluja was upset with the formation of the new team and the role assigned to him. The Congress praised Saluja for his services to the party.
The State Congress President on Wednesday accepted Saluja’s resignation letter and relieved him of all the responsibilities.
