Thieves decamp with ornaments from locked house

In a broad daylight theft, some unidentified thieves targeted a locked house and decamped with gold ornaments.
The wife of the victim had gone to her maternal home in Madhya Pradesh while the victim was on duty in day shift. He discovered about the theft on returning back home and a complaint in regard to the
illegal trespass and theft has been lodged by him with the Pulgaon Police.
The victim Ravendra Upadhyay (41) resides in village Thanoud and he works as a store supervisor in a steel factory situated at Rasmada. He told the police that his family is in Madhya Pradesh since 20 days and before going to work he locks the house properly.
On Monday, Ravendra left for work at about 9 AM in the morning and returned back at 20:30 hrs. In his complaint he told the police that on coming back, he found that the door of the house was lying half open while on entering inside, he saw the belongings of the house were lying scattered.
On verifying he found that a gold earring, two gold finger rings, gold Mangalsutra and two gold tops were missing. He said that the thieves opened the locker of the almirah with keys and fled away.
Meanwhile on complaint, Pulgaon Police have registered an offence against some unidentified thieves under sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code and are investigating further
