Chaos was created at the office of the Joint Commissioner, Co-operative when the leaders and members of trade unions confronted during the hearing of appellants, on Monday.
It may be noted that, Madhya Pradesh High Court, on June 29, while hearing the writ petition pertaining to the elections of OFK Consumer Co-operative Society by Joint Commissioner Co-operative, had directed the Joint Commissioner Co-operative for hearing the part of 39 members who registered their objections, on July 11, 2022.
Compliance with the order of the High Court, Joint Commissioner Co-operative organized the hearing of 39 members on Monday. All the members were present on scheduled time at the office of Office of Joint Commissioner. Meanwhile, office-bearers and members of opposition union entered the premises and created chaos and members of both the unions were confronted.
Taking a serious note on the situation, police was called on the spot and uninvited persons were forcefully pulled out from the office premises.
Senior trade union leader Arun Dubey informed that the elections of OFK Consumer Cooperative Society were pending since July 2021 when the then committee had completed the procedure and forwarded it to Registrar Department but the same could not be forwarded to Bhopal which leads to abandon the elections.
Taking advantage of the situation, an outsider businessman named Santosh Agrawal and others, made a conspiracy seated an administrator in the society. The miscreants printed a fake bill book and illegally provided memberships to ineligible persons but its financial record is still missing. Acting on the complaint, Joint Commissioner Cooperative called the hearing of 39 legal members but the miscreants again tried to abandon the hearing. He raised demand for taking legal action against Santosh Agrawal and others for hindering work of Government department and financial irregularities. On the occasion, Anand Sharma, Amit Choube, Akhilesh Patel, Mukesh Vinodia, Ashish Tiwari, Dharmendra Kumar, Sunil Khatri, Hridesh Yadav, Jeevan Singh, Santosh Singh Anupam Bhaumik, Anil Gupta and others extended appeal for conducting elections.
