The BAMS first year’s Anatomy paper conducted on June 10 was leaked in a well-planned manner with the nexus of few higher officers of Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University. More shocking is that they are still present in their offices without any official action taken against them despite repeated complaints. This indicates towards gross irregularities and a high-profile nexus active in the Medical Science University which works fearlessly and plays with the future of medical students, alleged Abhishek Pandey, President, MP Student Union during a press conference called on Monday.
He further alleged that in a well-planned manner, Examination Controller, Dr. Sachin Kuchya and Assistant Registrar, Dr. Pankaj Budhoulia allowed Dr. Nidhi Shrivastava (who was on official leave on June 10, 2022) to fulfill two most sensitive duties i.e. paper setter and moderator for Anatomy subject and also allowed her to go outside soon after the paper began.
As per rule, a paper setter is not allowed to conduct moderation work but Dr. Shrivastava was deployed for both the works simultaneously. The University administration intensionally delayed the paper by 50 minutes to allow ‘particular examinees’ to prepare their questions disclosed by Dr. Shrivastava. In addition, the concerned officers who hatched the conspiracy to leak Anatomy paper by starting the paper at 11.20 am in place of scheduled 10.30 am on June 10, 2022, openly provided the same question paper to the examinees at Ratlam where the examination began at 1.20 pm the same day.
Pandey claimed that the officer of Examination Department planned to leak Anatomy paper by allowing the same paper at Ratlam examination centre at 1.30 pm, which was already distributed among examinees in Jabalpur centre at 11.20 am. According to the members of MP Student Union, despite repeated complaints and RTI filed seeking replies, the University administration tries to play safe game by avoiding the issues.
The Union members demanded to register a FIR against Dr. Nidhi Shrivastava and to suspend her with immediate efforts.
