Three of four murder accused arrested within hours of incident

Gwarighat police have succeeded in apprehending three of the four accused involved in killing a man within hours of incident. Rigorous search to apprehend fourth accused is underway. The boy was killed after being stabbed with a knife after two days of an argument on a petty issue of sitting customers in boat.
The arrested have been identified as Narbad Barman (38), Deepak Yadav (20), residents of Barman Mohalla in Gwarighat and Inga alias Vinod Barman (22), resident of Umaghat Tiraha, Gwarighat while another accused Satyam Barman is still at large after the incident.
According to Gwarighat police, they received information from a private hospital that a boy was admitted for treatment of critical injuries in an attack. Condition of patient deteriorated and he succumbed to grave injuries during treatment in the hospital. Learning about the incident, a police team reached the hospital where a man named Ajay Barman (30), a resident of old Railway Station, Barman Mohalla in Gwarighat informed that his cousin Rahul Barman (26) held an argument with Satyam Barman, Narbad Barman, Deepak Yadav and Inga Barman in the area.
Rahul Barman objected miscreants for abusing when they attacked him and Satyam Barman wounded neck of Rahul Barman with a knife.
Bleeding profusely, Rahul fell on the ground. Onlookers Monu Kapur and Suraj Barman tried to protect Rahul when the miscreants threatened them to life and managed to escape from the spot. The injured was rushed to a private hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries undergoing the treatment. Gwarighat police sent the body for post-mortem after conducting panchnama and registered a case under Sections 294, 302 and 34 of IPC.
Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna (IPS) constituted a team under the supervision of Additional SP (South/Crime), Sanjay Kumar Agrawal and CSP, Cantt, Priyanka Shukla (IPS) for further investigation and apprehending the accused. Police team led by Station House Officer, Gwarighat, Bhumeshwari Chouhan started a search and nabbed three of the accused named Narbad Barman, Deepak Yadav and Inga Barman within some hours of the incident.
The accused informed that deceased Rahul Barman and accused Satyam Barman are boatmen at Umaghat, Gwarighat.
Two days back Rahul and Satyam held argument over sitting of customers in boat.
They had again argued over the issue and Satyam stabbed Rahul with a knife. Three of the accused were arrested with active working of police team led by Station House Officer (SHO), Bhumeshwari Chouhan comprised of SI, DS Tomar, ASI, Prem Lal Bhavedi, Head Constables, Surendra, Mukesh, Omprakash, constables, Ajay, Tarun and Sandeep.
