Top seed Arush Chitre and second seed Saksham Singh in High School Boys’ category, top seed Himani Jethwani, and second seed Aastha Turankar apart from Yashika Chandankhede, Vritika Game and Riddhi Agrawal in High School girls section continued their winning run after seven rounds in the ongoing 12th St Vincent Pallotti Memorial Nagpur District Inter-School Chess Tournament organised by St Vincent Pallotti School at its premises on Thursday.
Vishwaditya Awasthi, the top seed in Primary Boys category and Number One in Primary Girls section Divyanshi Khandelwal are leading their respective groups after the end of the seventh round.
In the High School Boys category, Chitre and Saksham Singh are leading the table with 6.5 points each while in High School Girls category, Himani Jethwani, Aastha Turankar, Yashika Chandankhede, Vritika Game and Riddhi Agrawal all have six points in their kitty and are joint leaders.
In the Primary Boys and Girls’ sections, Vishwaditya Awasthi (7) and Divyanshi Khandelwal (7) top the table winning all their matches. Swara Gandhi and Vishwaja Deshmukh are at second position in the primary girls category with six points.
High School boys category, Amey Padmawar, Siddhant Gawai, Sanskar Gaigore, Himanshu Jethwani and Soham Chhabda are sitting at the second spot with six points each.
In girls category, Sri Rashmika M with 5.5 points is at second position.
Similarly, in Primary boys section, Sahejveer Singh Maras and Kushagra Paliwal (6) are at second spot.
In the Junior College category, Bhavan’s Civil Lines’ fourth seed Aaditya Agrawal is leading the table with with 4.5 points after five rounds.
