HMS will oppose Govt’s anti-labour policy, will fight for rights of workers

“The Government is making efforts of ending labour laws to conflict interests of workers in the country. Government departments are being privatised or corporatised to provide undue advantage to corporate houses. The situation will lead to make workers only contract labourers. Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) will never tolerate anti-labour policy of the Government and will fight for the rights of workers,” said Harbhajan Singh Siddhu, National General Secretary, HMS.
He was addressing regional working committee meeting of Hind Mazdoor Sabha held recently. During the meeting, All India Defence Employees Federation (AIDEF), National President, S N Pathak and HMS, National Secretary and West Central Railway Employees Union (WCREU), General Secretary, Mukesh Galav and other representatives of public sector units attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, WCREU, General Secretary and HMS, National Secretary, Mukesh Galav charged the Central Government and termed its policies as effort to develop emergency like situation in the country. He informed that the HMS has started strongly opposing the biased policies of the Government under the leadership of Harbhajan Singh Siddhu. On the occasion, new body of state unit was constituted and former Divisional Secretary, Naveen Latoria was nominated as State General Secretary of HMS. Nem Singh, Pushpendra Singh, Sharad Borkar, Nathulal Pandey, Vinay Singh, DS Sharma, Hussain Baksh, MS Vyas, BN Shukla and other office-bearers were present.
