To ensure safety of citizens who live in and around dilapidated houses, the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (IMC) is carrying out drive and removing dangerous structures. Under such a drive, the anti-encroachment and Building Department of the JMC, on Tuesday razed an old, damage houses, located at Amanpur in Narsingh ward. Apart from that the squad also removed a number of temporary structures which were mushrooming in Civil Lines, Gorakpur, Ranjhi, Malgodown and other areas.
It may be noted that a number of buildings which got constructed decades ago become dilapidated with passage of time. Now, these old structures become dangerous for citizens who are living in and surrounding the houses. Therefore, for the safety of general public, the Municipal Corporation has asked to remove such old houses.
Accordingly, the building department and anti-encroachment squad are conducting drive and removing all
dilapidated, old structures which are posing danger to citizens. On Tuesday, senior officials of both the department carried out drive and removed a damaged houses belonged to Munna Das in Narsingh ward. Besides, they also removed temporary structures, which got erected along main roads in the city.
