MADRASATUL Muslemin Rabbani High School, K John Public Schools from Asoli and Saoner, MK Sancheti, Indian Olympiad School and Delhi Public School from Kamptee moved into the pre-quarterfinals of the Subroto Cup football tournament for Under 17 boys (Rural) on Wednesday.

In their second round match, MM Rabbani School thrashed St Andrew’s Walni 6-0.

Mohammad Adnan (4th), Tameer Akhtar (12th, 15th min), Huzaifa Ahemad (22nd), Arshil Akhtar (26th) and Mohammad Kaif (30th min) scored the goals for the Kamptee based school.

In another match played at Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur, K John Public School, Asoli rode on Uday Ingle’s twin strike (10th and 27th min) to blank Bhavan’s Koradi 2-0.

MK Sancheti made the light work of Mount Litra as they beat them 3-0. Dunnock Jordar (11th), Anish Jadhav (20th) and Rudraksh Chauhan (29th) were the scorers.

In another match, K John Public School, Saoner edged past SFS, Neemkheda 1-0 with K Masulkar (17th) scoring the winner.
