Approval has been given for the construction of new medical colleges in six districts of Madhya Pradesh. The establishment of these medical colleges will cost an expenditure of about Rs 1,200 crore.
The dream of thousands of youth in the state to become a doctor will come true by studying in these medical colleges. In such a situation, with establishing these medical colleges in smaller districts, those areas will definitely develop.
6 medical colleges will be built in these districts: The government has approved 6 new medical colleges in the state, after the construction of these colleges, there will be a total of 20 government medical colleges in the state. The new medical colleges have been approved in Mandla, Singrauli, Rajgarh, Sheopur, Neemuch and Mandsaur districts. Work is going on in Neemuch district on a war footing.
Medical college to be built in Neemuch at a cost of R 255.78 crores: All the process including handing over the land to the construction company and tender has been completed. Now the wait is for the Bhoomi Pujan to be held but even without Bhoomi Pujan, the construction can start after the orders of the departmental officers. For many years the construction of a medical college in Neemuch was pending. With the construction of the medical college, health facilities will improve till now the dependence of the people of the district for treatment in the cities of Rajasthan including Bhilwara, Udaipur will also be reduced. Neemuch's medical college will be built at a cost of Rs 255.78 crores on a land of 97,452 sqm.
Neemuch Jagran Manch fought the battle: The movement took place under the banner of Neemuch Jagran Manch. The people of the district fought a big fight for the medical college. Eight and a half lakh people of the district raised their voice in unison for the medical college. The movement got success with public cooperation. On November 30,
2021, a sum of Rs 255.78 crore was approved for the medical college in Neemuch. And after this the land was allotted for the medical college on 9 November 2021. On January 22, the way was cleared for laying the foundation stone of the medical college on the approved 97,452 square meter land near Kanavati. According to the information, the medical college will be ready in two years from the start of construction.
