SARASWATI Vidyalaya recently felicitated its meritorious sportspersons. School Head Mistress Jayshri Sastri, AHM Pushpa Ananth Narayan, Supervisors Uday Tulankar, Ravindra Kulkarni and the teaching staff congratulated all the medal winners.

The winners include: Swimming: Digvijay Admane bagged gold in 100 mtr breaststroke, 200 mtr breaststroke; silver medal in 100 mtr freestyle along with certificate.

Admane also bagged gold in 50mtr breast stroke and 50mtr butterfly, silver medal in 50 mtr backstroke in the Nasikrao Tirpude College of Physical Education organised 18th Nasikrao Tirpude Memorial District-Level Swimming Competition at Tirpude College.

In athletics: Sagar Tiwari bagged gold in high jump (U-18 boys). Aastha Rawat bagged gold in U-16 girls discus throw and shot put. Ritika Sankat bagged gold in U-14 girls cross country (U-16 girls) Shreyas Vaidya bagged gold in high jump in U-14 boys group. Samiksha Pitore won bagged silver in shot put in U-14 girls. Sharun Nagdavne bagged bronze in discus throw in U-14 boys.

All the winners give the credit of their success to their school and coaches.
