Tiranga in hands, Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ on lips. Every person including youth, elderly, teenager and women participated in the Tiranga Yatra organised by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) were seen painted in the colours of patriotism.
People holding tricolour in their hands were welcomed with open arms everywhere in the streets and squares of the city where the Tiranga Yatra passed with patriotic flair.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State President Vishnudutt Sharma, who are leading the Tiranga Yatra, called upon the people of the state to hoist the tricolour at every house from August 13 to 15. Tiranga Yatra was organised by District Bhopal.
Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha organised Tiranga Yatra in the State capital on Wednesday in which Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma along with party officials, public representatives, workers and common citizens participated. The journey started from Polytechnic square and reached Shaurya Smarak via Banganga, Roshanpura, New Market, Link Road, Vyapam intersection. Here flowers were offered to the statue of Mother India. Hundreds of Yuva Morcha workers on bikes participated in the yatra. The Tiranga Yatra was welcomed by social and religious organisations at various places including Banganga Square, Roshanpura,
New Market, Nanke Petrol Pump, Anand Vihar School, 1250, Red Cross, PEB Chauraha. Take a pledge to hoist the tricolor symbol of national pride in every house: Shivraj Singh Chouhan Addressing the gathering, CM Chouhan said that today a wonderful sight was seen on the roads of Bhopal.
Everyone involved in the tricolor yatra was seen painted in the colours of patriotism and the Bharat Mata’s cheers were being raised with enthusiasm, giving an impression that every person was taking a pledge to keep the tricolor and the honour of Mother India intact. He said that India’s victory flag is being hoisted all over the world under the leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi . On the call of the Prime Minister, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has been started under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Chouhan said that the tricolour is our national pride and a symbol of our wishes and aspirations. Taking this tricolor in hand, our freedom fighters and revolutionaries clashed with the British. Chouhan said that come, let us all take this pledge and also make the people around us resolve that they will definitely hoist the tricolor flag at their homes from August 13 to 15. Take a pledge to hoist the tricolor in every house with the spirit of patriotism: Vishnudutt Sharma: State President Vishnudutt Sharma said that today is a historic day. Through this Tiranga Yatra, today the whole of Bhopal and every youth and citizen have done the work of making Bhopal tricolor by taking the tricolor in their hands. He said that 75 years of independence are being completed on August 15. But this freedom did not come just like that. Our freedom fighters and revolutionaries laid down their lives for freedom. Sharma said that in the honour of these martyrs, a campaign of tricolour has been started under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the way the entire Bhopal has descended on the field today with the tricolor, in the same way the entire state is going to become tricolor. From August 13 to 15, there will be tricolor in every house. Sharma said that today’s young generation, who were born after independence, have not seen the rule of the British. But we all know about the sons who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. During the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for remembering these sacrifices. Therefore, every youth, common citizens, sons and daughters should take a pledge to hoist the tricolor in every house with the spirit of patriotism to make the Amrit festival of independence historic.
