Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MPPTC) has constructed 132 KV EHV Sub Station at Dhimarkheda (Murwari) with an estimated cost of Rs Rs.48.26 crore near Karaundi, the center point of India.
Dhimarkheda-Panagar line an estimated cost of 34.52 crore and 132 KV Sub Station constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 13.74 crore (total Rs.48.26 crore) with capacity of 50 MVA Transformer at Dhimarkheda (Murwari). MPPTCL has succeeded to energising this much needed substaion for remote area .
Executive Engineer of MPPTC, Pramod Bahare informed that this 132 KV S/S & 54 KM 132 KV line project is funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and built by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company. About 30,000 domestic and agricultural electricity consumers of Dhimarkheda, Murwari, Ramkheria, Khirhani, Majhgawan, Pan Umaria, Darshaman, Silaudi areas will
be benefited by the construction of the substation. Now quality power supply will be available to them with proper voltage and minimum interruption. The 132 KV EHV line of 54 km long from 220KV substation Panagar to Dhimarkheda (Murwari). line has been constructed .Now consumers will get supply from this newly charged substaion in place of long distance 132 KV Substation Manaskara. In place of 24 KM long feeder, consumer will get supply only from 4.5 km. In place of 30 KM long feeder form 132 KV Substation Sleemanabad. The feeder length of other 33kv feeder will remain 15 km. Dhimarkheda (Murwari) is the 408th Extra High Voltage substation of Madhya Pradesh.At present in Madhya Pradesh14 Substation of 400KV, 86 substation of 220KV and 308 substation of 132 KV sub stations are operational. Construction of EHV lines for Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company has been carried out by M/s L&T. and the substation has been constructed by M/s Shreem.
132 KV Substation Dhimarkheda (Murwari) is the 7th Extra High Voltage substation of Katni district. Before this, 1 no 400/220 KV substation in Katni district and 5 no 132 KV sub station’s was operational. Earlier Power transmission was done through these 6 substations. With this substation being energized, the transmission capacity of Katni district has increased to 1726 MVA. In which 400 kV. Side 630 MVA, 220 KV Side 480 MVA and 132 KV. Side are 616 MVA On 12th May 1965 at Katni 132 KV. The first substation of the Katni was energized at Shanti Nagar, Katni, then its capacity was 12.5 MVA. Which today increased to 120 MVA. Apart from this, at present in Katni district. 400 KV S/S Katni ,132 KV Substation Katni, 132 KV Substation Kaymore,, 132 KV Substation Barhi, 132 KV Substation Sleemanabad and 132 KV. Substation Manaskara are operated through which Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company transmits electricity in Katni district.
