“Ensuring its contribution to the nationwide Tiranga Yatra, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) would take out a grand Tiranga Yatra on Cruise and Boats at Bargi Dam Reservoir on August 13, 3 pm onwards. The patriotic event will symbolise the significance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava to mark the 75 years of the independence”, informed Vinod Gontia, Chairman, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation while addressing a press conference, on Friday.

Chairman, Gontia informed that the Tirang Yatra will be unique of its kind which would be taken out on cruise and boats on the reservoir. Several eminent personalities, religious gurus and a large numbers of residents till attend the event include Member of Parliament, MLAs, Divisional Commissioner B Chandra-shekhar, Collector, Dr. Ilayaraja T Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna, Municipal Commissioner Ashish Vashisht, Zilla Panchayat, CEO, public representatives and several administrative officers. Besides this, the event will

be organised in auspicious presence of senior religious gurus include Acharya Girishanand, Paglanand Ji Maharaj, Raghav Devacharya, Gyaneshwari Didi, Akhileshwaranand Maharaj, Narsinghdas Maharaj and others.

Vinod Gontia also briefed about the ongoing tourism promotion projects like Dolfin Park at Bhedaghat, Madan Mahal Hills, Sangram Sagar and other development projects.

During the event, MPSTDC’s senior officers include General Manager, SP Singh, Executive Engineer, Dilip Shrivastava, Regional Manager, KL Patel, Manager, Alok Saxena and others will be specially present.

MPSTDC, Chariman, Vinod Gontia extended appeal towards residents to ensure their presence during the event in large numbers for making it a grand success.
