With an aim to chalk out a fresh roadmap for the State Assembly elections 2023, the State BJP unit is gearing up to overhaul its organisational structure. At one hand the party bigwigs are working on a plan – an outcome of recently concluded civic body polls, feedback and reports convened from the districts, party will smarten up its functioning bodies from the top (headquarter) to the ground level workers.
Sources in the party told ‘The Hitavada’, the party will restrict self-decision makers and urge them to come forward and chip in their suggestions. Also, they will be asked to adopt a collective approach whenever any important decision is to be taken in interest of the party.
The party has information about such district presidents; who takes decision in isolation, do not coordinate with legislator of their constituencies and minister in-charge. The party leaders will soon give them pep talks to stop working solo and work with a team spirit since their self-styled working adversely affects the party on various fronts.
The State leadership will soon fix the date of the meeting of the State working committee. \The party had organised a working committee meeting in Pachmarhi on August 26 but it was postponed. The party leadership would soon decide about a fresh date after August 30. There are reports that the role of district heads, election in-charge and booth in-charge at some places are under scanner.
Important decisions will be taken about them by mid-September. The message from the party is clear that now for Assembly elections, the organisation should be strengthened further, keeping booth at centre as booth activities will be enhanced further in accordance with influence of local legislators. The party will soon take information from its MP about the status of schemes of the Central Government and the State Government, their implementation in their parliamentary/assembly constituency. In case of any shortcoming, the Member of Parliament of the constituency will have to address the issue. According to sources, the Chief Minister will also take administrative machinery on task. According to Government sources, CM will virtually interact with beneficiaries of Anugrih Sahayata Yojana, members of MP Building and other construction workers welfare board and Mukhya Mantri Sambal Yojana in first week of September in this series.
