MP Rakesh Singh says fire incident painful, unfortunate

“The fire incident occurred at New Life Superspeciality Hospital is painful and unfortunate. On one hand where such an accident has given pain, it has also forced to think that such accidents should not be repeated in future, that is why whoever are guilty for the incident would be punished severely”, said Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh after meeting the injured people at Metro Hospital, on Tuesday.
It may be noted that eight people died and five people were injured in the devastating fire that occurred at the hospital, on Monday evening. To know the ground realities Singh along with senior party leaders visited the hospital. He inquired about the incident from senior administrative officials. Later, they visited Metro Hospital and Medical College and Hospital to know about the condition of injured people.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said it is an unfortunate incident in which so many people have lost their lives and some get injured. He said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh has directed to take stringent action against those who would found guilty, in the report of Investigating Committee.
Singh said when a large number of hospitals were opened during Covid-19 epidemic, it was the need of the hour and every person wanted that he could get treatment at that time. But the hospitals open at that time have not yet followed necessary guidelines. Such hospitals which are paying such negligence will be dealt with severely. He said no one can
bring back the people who have died in the accident, but efforts are being made to provide best treatment to the injured so that they can become healthy early.
Those present on the occasion were MLA Ashok Rohani, Ashish Dubey, Akhilesh Jain, G S Thakur, Sharad Jain, Prabhat Sah, Sadanand Godbole, Atul Jain Dani, Vibhesh Bhapkar along with ADM Sher Singh Meena, Namah Shivay Arjaria and other administrative and police officials.
