ARYAN Football Club (Vocs Cooler Colony) clinched the North Division Football title in the Slum Soccer tournament organised by (Slum soccer) Krida Vikas Sanstha at Jaripatka, NIT ground near Police Station, Hudko Colony.

In the interesting final, Aryan FC defeated Junior FC (Aashirwad Nagar) 1-0. The all important goal was scored by Shoaib Ansari in the fifth minute.

Earlier in the semis, Junior FC defeated Rohan FC (Jaripatka) 4-3 in penalty shoot-out. Himanshu Dubey, Sajid Khan, Sudanta Patel and Sahil Sonkar scored the goals for the winning team. For Rohan FC Suraj Paswan, Anjinkya Nayan Vashik scored goals. In the second semi-final, Aryan FC defeated ST Martin (Martin Nagar) 3-1 also in shoot-out. Nasir Ansari, Munir Ali and Alex Fernandes scored for Aryan FC. Sohaib Ansar was declared the best player of the tournament. Prof Vijay Barse, Manoj Sangole, Suraj Pose, Rohit Yadav, Vivek Nikose, Kumbhare (PI Jaripatka Police Station, Milind Sontakke, Anmol Lotane, Sunny Pandey and Bansi Karmore were present during the prize distribution function. Sonu and Umesh Deshmukh were the match officials.
