State Congress Chief Mohan Markam has hit out at former Chief Minister and BJP National Vice- President Dr Raman Singh after Dr Raman Singh said that the MLAs of the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) have come to Raipur for spending some luxurious time.

Mohan Markam expressed strong objection over Dr Raman Singh’s objectionable statement. Markam added that it is unfortunate that Dr Raman Singh made such objectionable statement against the MLAs of the UPA.

The BJP leaders from other states are coming to Raipur for three days program and Dr Raman Singh should disclose whether the BJP leaders are coming to Chhattisgarh for spending some luxurious time, he added.

Leaders from political party visit other states for various purposes but Dr Raman Singh should not make such kind of objectionable statement, he added.

The State Congress Chief said that the BJP Government at the Centre is misusing central agencies like CBI, IT and ED to destabilise the Opposition Governments. The BJP could not tolerate the Opposition Governments, he added.
