Various organisations have staged protest outside the renowned private school in Neelbad area of the State capital in connection with the alleged rape of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl by the bus driver. Social workers and parents demonstrated in front of the school. Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) had also reached in support of the parents from 8 am. The girl’s mother has accused the police of being partial to the school management. Even after four days of the FIR, no action has been taken against the school management. It is alleged that the police officers probing the matter are trying to give a clean chit to the management. On Wednesday also, ABVP workers had protested in front of the school gate. In view of the protests, barricades and police teams have been deployed in front of the school.

The school management also tried to convince the parents, but some parents removed the barricades and entered the school and vented fierce anger against the school management. Parents said that their children were not safe in this school, so they wanted to meet the principal. The parents say that the principal is not meeting them. The school principal is responsible for the safety of the children. On the other hand, the schedule of meeting the parents has been issued by the school management at different times. Parents say that they will take their children out of here next year. They say that when children are not safe even after paying annual fees of one to two lakh rupees in school, then what is the purpose of sending children to such school. Parents stood in front of the school for two hours, but the school management did not call them inside to listen to them. Parents say that their daughters are not safe in this school. Because of this they are not sending their children to school now. Only 30 to 40 pc of those children are reaching school, whose examinations are on. Parents say that in the name of school security, there are CCTVs and security guards, despite this, such a big incident happened. Mahila Congress also stages protest: The Mahila Congress protested at Roshanpura Square against the alleged rape of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl student of the private school. During this, veteran Congress leaders and workers were raising slogans against the government with placards in their hands. Their demand was that concrete action should be taken against the accused who have committed atrocities on women and girls. State President of Mahila Congress Vibha Patel said that atrocities on women and girls are increasing in MP. “Crimes will not be curbed by constituting committees, concrete action should be taken against the criminals by taking strict steps.
