To screen their malpractices, the leadership of Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) (JCCJ) has expelled me, alleged Lormi MLA Dharamjeet Singh and rejected the allegations made against him.
On Sunday, National President of JCCJ Renu Jogi and the State President Amit Jogi issued a letter expelling me from the party for a period of six years citing some allegations, said the MLA while addressing the media in Raipur on Monday.
However, Dharamjeet did not clarify his future political plans when asked by the media. “I completely reject the allegations against me in the expulsion letter. The move of expelling me was just an attempt to hush-up their malpractices and to evade the situation from getting worse,” he stated. Narrating his side of the story on the entire episode, Dharamjeet alleged that “on August 28, Amit Jogi made a call the media in Raipur on Monday. In the 2018 assembly, the Ajit Jogi-led party had won five seats but it lost two of them in the bypolls held later. At present, the JCC (J) has 3 MLAs, including Singh, in the 90-members House.
