Several leaders of the ruling party on Tuesday took the membership of BJP in Raipur. During a brief ceremony held at Kushabhau Thakre Parisar, Congress leaders along with their supporters joined the BJP.
As per information, former MLA Kumari Kamda Jolhe, former president of District Congress Committee in Balod Abhishek Shukla, former MLA from Ramgarh Vijay Agrawal,; former municipal co-operation’s president Sampat Agrawal, former mandal president Lakhan Lal Shrivastava and others joined BJP.
Speaking on the occasion, in-charge of BJP unit in Chhattisgarh and MLA (Bihar) Nitin Nabin dubbed the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s ‘Bhent Mulaqat’ programme as ‘Hate Mulaqat’ and said, “he always humiliate whomever he meet and shout at them. People of the state have seen his real face and now his farewell is confirmed.” The people in Chhattisgarh want to get rid of Congress and together we will fulfil the desire of the public, said BJP State President Arun Sao. Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel and former Chief Minister and the party’s national vice-president Raman Singh also addressed the gathering and motivated the people who joined the party. Former Leader of Opposition and Senior leader Dharam Lal Kaushik, former Speaker Gauri Shankar Agrawal, Vishnudeo Sai, Vikram Usendi, MP Santosh Pandey, former Minister Kedar Kashyap and others were present on the occasion.
