RAIPUR,
CHHATTISGARH Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while replying to a query on the searches being carried out by Income Tax Department on Wednesday, said, “Now, the IT has started searches and after it, the ED will reach.”
The CM was talking to media persons at Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur before leaving for Kanyakumari.
Baghel participated in the launch of Bharat Jodo Yatra at Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Baghel also hit out at Assam Chief Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma’s controversial statement over ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’.
It may be mentioned that Assam Chief Minister Hemant Biswa Sarma called the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra as comedy of the century and advised Rahul to “go to Pakistan” with his call for unification.
Chief Minister Baghel said
that Hemant Biswa Sarma is spewing poison now. Asked on Assam Chief Minister Sarma’s statement over ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Chief Minister Baghel said, “Hemant Biswa Sarma was earlier in Congress. At present, he is in the BJP. There he is spitting poison every day. He is new mullah. It is also said that the new mullah eats more onions. Hemant Biswa must have seen the map of Akhand Bharat in the office of RSS. Pakistan India and Nepal Bangladesh are all in it, so accordingly he says to merge Pakistan in India.” “The BJP leaders often talk about sending Indian Muslims to Pakistan. Then let’s talk about the merger of Pakistan with India. So in such a situation, what is the use of sending the Indian Muslims to Pakistan. If the Muslims are sent, then why should be it merged?. If Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan is merged with India the Muslim population will be 40 crores then the condition of BJP will get worse,” Baghel pointed. India is a country where people of many religion and caste reside. There is unity in diversity in India, he added. Replying to another query on the searches being carried out by Income Tax Department at various places in the state on Wednesday, Baghel said, “Now the IT has started searches and after it, the ED will reach.” Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Baghel participated in the launch of Bharat Jodo Yatra at Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu Addressing a public meeting at Kanyakumari, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the believers of British policies are spilling poison and attempting to divide the country. Baghel said that Rahul Gandhi has launched the padyatra from this holy place of Kanyakumari to spread the message of brotherhood and unity and to highlight the problems of the common people. Earlier, the chief minister also paid tributes at Thiruvalluvar Memorial and visited Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister while paying tributes at Kanyakumari said that from this place Vivekananda took the power and gave a message of unity to the world in Chicago conference. Here Mahatma Gandhi gave the message of peace and brotherhood. Referring to BJP, he said that only those who believe in the British policies are creating arson in the country. They are destroying the unity and brotherhood in the country. Rahul Gandhi has started the Bharat Jodo Yatra to highlight the basic problems of the common people including the poor, labourers, tribals, dalits in the country and to save the country from a spiteful circle that has now enveloped the country. Baghel took a night halt at Annai Resort, Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Mohan Markam also participated in the launch of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kanyakumari.
