CHHATTISGARH State Cricket Sangh (CSCS) has been working on war footing to complete the ongoing preparations for the India vs New Zealand One Day International on schedule. The ODI will be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur on January 21.
President of CSCS Jubin Shah, former President Baldev Singh Bhatia, In-charge Tournament Organising Committee Vijay Shah and Rajesh Dave, Joint Secretary of CSCS G S Murti, Inchare of Ticket and Accreditation Committee Vinay Bajaj, Media Manager Prashant Singh Raghuvanshi and other were present on the occasion.
Talking to the mediapersons on the preparations, President of CSCS Jubin Shah said that after the persistent efforts for years, finally Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh was given the responsibility to organise first one day international cricket match in Raipur. He said that CSCS is grateful to the State Administration for their full support in organising the international match.
In his interaction, In-charge of the Tournament Organising Committee Vijay Shah said that CSCS has been successful in organising IPL and other important matches in Raipur. He informed that there is a difference between organising of ODI and IPL.
In the IPL matches, the concerned franchise is involved, but CSCS is involved in organising of ODI in the capital city. As such, a team from CSCS visited Nagpur and held discussion related to the organising of ODI with the local office-bearers of the association there, he added. He further informed that the tickets for Raipur ODI will be available online from January 11 and the bookings can be done through Paytm. As finalised, the price of each ticket for upper level student quota is Rs 300, upper level is Rs 500 and Rs 700, and lower level is Rs 1000, Rs 1250 and Rs 1500. The price for Silver is Rs 5000, Gold – Rs 6000, Platinum – Rs 7500 and ticket for Corporate is priced at Rs 10,000. Looking at the abnormal prices charged for the food items by stall outside the stadium in the past, Vijay Shah said that the prices are being fixed for the food items. The prices are already announced for the food items which will be adhered to by the sellers in the food stalls.
