Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan exchanged Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the delegations of various industrial and business organisations for business promotion activities in the first session on the last day of the Global Investors Summit. These industrial and trade organisations, which are operating in more than 215 countries of the world, signed agreements with MPIDC for activities in 15 sectors. CM Chouhan said that the State Government is committed to conduct long-term activities to strengthen relations with these organisations and for mutual progress. Activities will be conducted with trade and industry organisations for the global expansion of Madhya Pradesh’s business and industrial activities. Every possible effort will be made in this direction and new opportunities will also be created for investment and expansion of activities in the state. During this, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and Principal Secretary Manish Singh were present at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore.
Organisations of Canada, Singapore, Africa and Bangladesh sign MoUs: Indo-Canada Business Chamber, Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries, India-ASEAN Great Council and India-Africa Trade Council, Indian Economic Trade Organisation, India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries exchanged Memorandums of Understanding with Chief Minister Chouhan to conduct activities in several areas including agriculture, technology, food processing and training. Mutual co-operation in fields of trade data, medicine, skill upgradation and engineering: The Latin American Caribbean Federation of India exchanged Memorandum of Understanding regarding trade
data and trade licensing, the Hong Kong-based India Connect Group regarding technology exchanges, the Bhatt Foundation, active in the US-Africa and India, in the field of medicine and the Indian National Association of Legal Professionals exchanged MoU regarding trade law. In this sequence, UNESCO Unevoc Centre for Skill Upgradation exchanged Memorandum of Understanding for skill upgradation, Engineering Export Promotion Council for engineering, Thailand’s Federation of Indian Industries Chapter for investment in start-up, People of Indian Origin of Malaysia for food processing, Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce Industries exchanged MoU regarding business expansion.
Heartfulness and Organisation of Skill Development also signed MoUs: Heartfulness Education Trust, Marble Rocks, Infro Trust, Eco Taras, World NRI Association, Organisation of Skill Development, Council of EU Chamber of Commerce and Turkey’s Musiad Group also exchanged MoUs with Chief Minister Chouhan.
