Mayor-in-Council meeting chaired by Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) Mayor Aijaz Dhebar deliberated on the micro action plan for sanitation and Solid Waste (SW) management, destitute pension scheme, National family assistance scheme’s new cases, maintenance of broken roads and dog rehabilitation centre.
Mayor-in-Council members Gyanesh Sharma, Srikumar Menon, Naagbhushan Rao, Ritesh Tripathi, Ajit Kukreja, Sameer Akhtar, Sahdev Vyahwar, Sundarlal Jogi, Jitendra Agrawal, Suresh Channawar, Aakash Tiwari, Draupati Hemant Patel, Additional Commissioner Abhishek Agrawal, Sunil Chandrawanshi, Arvind Sharma, Shailendra Patle, RMC Secretary Vinod Pandey, SW management, dog rehab centre Superintending Engineers, Zone Commissioners, Executive Engineers and other officers were present in the meeting. MiC led by Mayor Aijaz Dhebar approved a micro action plan for sanitation and solid waste management for million-plus cities/urban agglomeration year 2021-22 after discussing a departmental proposal for solid waste management. The MiC also cleared 19 new cases of national family assistance scheme and 321 cases of destitute pensions submitted by the urban poverty alleviation and social welfare department. MiC also passed a proposal for a dog rehabilitation centre for ailing and injured dogs. Mayor directed officials to detail the project reports for the same. Besides, MiC also gave approval to several other agendas concerning public welfare and infrastructural works.
