A farmer Popular Das Manikpuri, during ‘Bhent Mulaqat’ programme at Belpan village under Takhatpur Legislative Assembly of Bilaspur district made a complaint to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel against Patwari who is demanding bribe for work. The Chief Minister after giving a patient hearing to the grievances of the farmer instructed Bilaspur Collector Saurabh Kumar to investigate the complaint and if found correct take strict action against the Patwari, the Chief Minister went further ahead directed to investigate the working of even the ex-Patwari also.
Baghel interacted with villagers and students and took feedback from the farmers about Government schemes.
The Chief Minister made various announcements including water to be supplied to Takhatpur town from Khudiya Jalashay of Takhatpur under Jal Avardhan Yojana, Belpan Mandir Fair Ground to be development as tourist spot, ambulance to be provided to Primary Health Centre Belpan, 50-seater Pre Matric Tribal Boys Hostel to be established at Belpan, building to be constructed for Community Health Centre Takhatpur, road widening work to be carried from Uslapur Flyover to Sakri, building and boundary wall to be constructed on Guru Ghasidas Jayanti Mela spot at Bharni village, Nagar Panchayat to be set up at Gram Panchayat Ganiyari, Mini Stadium to be constructed at Sankribhanta village, building to be constructed for Primary School Pongriha, Nigarband and Belsara and Middle School Salhekapa, Stadium to be renovated and boundary wall to be consructed at Darri village, Government Polytechnic College Takhatpur to be renamed after former Takhatpur MLA Swargiya Thakur Balram Singh, Government Naveen Kanya Mahavidyalaya Takhatpur to be renamed after Veerangana Rani Durgavati, Primary School Bijapur to be upgraded as Middle School and Seda Middle School to be upgraded as High School.
Takhatpur MLA Rashmi Ashish Singh, Bilaspur Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Alang, Inspector General of Police Bilaspur Range Badrinarayan Meena, Collector Saurabh Kumar, Superintendent of Police Parul Mathur, Jila Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Jaishree Jain Kanwar, Divisional Forest Officer Kumar Nishant, Congress leaders Vijay Kesharwani, Ashish Singh Thakur, other public representatives and officers were present. Later, Baghel interacted with the villagers during his Bhent Mulaqat programme at Khairi village. He also made various announcements. During the Bhent Mulaqat programme, several villagers said that they are getting benefit of Government schemes. The Chief Minister met the delegations of various social organisations at Khapri village.
