Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion and Exhibition at the Brilliant Convention Centre in the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas Convention. In the Madhya Pradesh pavilion, the activities and implementation of schemes run by various departments of the State Government were presented. In the pavilion, stalls of start-ups initiated in the state have been set-up, expressing the spirit of Atma-nirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, the products manufactured in the state have also been displayed by various industrial groups.
 
Ekatm Dham is unique in the pavilion
Chief Minister Chouhan visited Ekatm Dham Mandap in Madhya Pradesh Pavilion on the project of Advait Vedanta Sansthan being constructed and the installation of statue of Acharya Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar. This mandap has been constructed on the pavilion site according to the Nagara style of Indian architecture on the basis of design of Sri Yantra. Depicting the origin, position and rhythm of creation from start, the design of the institute to be built in Omkareshwar, Advaita philosophy and the development process of the institute were displayed in an elegant way. A brief version of the 108 feet high statue of Acharya Shankar to be installed in Omkareshwar and the painting of famous painter Vasudev Kamath is also displayed in Ekatm Dham.
CM inaugurates millet stall
Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the millet stall set up by the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department by cutting the ribbon. The logo of Madhya Pradesh was also launched by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan in Millet Mission. Millet products of Mandla, Chhindwara, Dindori, Anuppur, Singrauli, Khargone, Morena and Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur have been displayed in the stall. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appreciated the products of millet stall. He described the products as nutritionally useful and also tasted them. Millet products like biscuit cookies, rice pasta etc, made of Kodo-Kutki, Ragi, Kangni, Jowar-Bajra etc. have been displayed in the stall. CM Chouhan had tea at the stall of Chai Sutta Bar: Chief Minister Chouhan had tea at the stall of Chai Sutta Bar Start-up set up in Madhya Pradesh Pavilion. The CM interacted with the youths who have set up start-ups at the stalls of Start-up Kimirika, Pata, Direct Shop Kirana, Carbon Neutral Company Unit, Neev Cloud, Gram-O-Phone, Signify, an innovation focused on wood.
Stalls have been set up by Japan, Maldives, Mauritius, European Chambers, Thailand, Canada, Guyana, Republic of Panama, India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Singapore-India Chamber of Commerce and Industries at the exhibition site. On the theme of Atma-Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh, various industrial groups operating in the state like Maral Overseas, Pratibha Syntex, Trident Group, Vardhman Group, Porwal Auto Component, Adinath Poly Plast, Force, Eicher etc. also set up stalls and displayed the products being manufactured in the state.
Traffic signal robot gathering attention: Chief Minister Chouhan visited the stalls of Mata Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar and Somnath, Bhopal’s Jute Craft and Zari Zardozi, Jhabua’s Doll Making, Dewas’ Bamboo Art, Dindori’s Gond Painting and Maheshwari Weaving. Chouhan also saw the working of the traffic signal robot and visited the stall set-up by the Ministry of Information and Broad-casting, Government of India on Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas.
Chouhan also visited the exhibition focused on Rajya Anand Sansthan, AYUSH, Bio-diversity, Good Governance, Tribal Welfare, Progress in Irrigation and Power Generation, Jal Jeevan Mission, Livelihood Mission, CM Rise School, Science-Technology, Innovation-Policy and Smart City Vision. The Chief Minister also visited the stall set-up by the Indore Municipal Corporation in the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion. In this stall, point-wise information has been presented on the topics of Innovative Financing, Clean Indore, Smart City Indore and Diverse Indore.
