In a forecast, the Meteorological Department has predicted a rise in minimum temperatures in Twin Cities - Bhilai and Durg, starting this Sunday. This temperature increase is anticipated to persist until the first week of December, with a noticeable cooling trend expected to settle in mid-December. The meteorologists attribute this shift to a disturbance forming in the west, leading to elevated humidity levels in the atmosphere, suggesting a slight rise in minimum temperatures.

On Saturday, the state experienced a maximum temperature of 31.4 degrees Celsius in Durg, with the lowest minimum temperature recorded at 10.8 degrees Celsius in Ambikapur. Looking ahead, light rainfall is expected in a few places in one or two districts, specifically in the state’s extreme south, particularly Bastar region. Cloud cover is anticipated to linger over Durg district in the coming days, with a chance of dry weather prevailing. Saturday saw Durg district experiencing a maximum temperature of 31.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 17.2 degrees Celsius, indicating potential fluctuations in the days ahead.
