Thousands of beneficiaries were provided with due benefits of various welfare schemes during the Zila Rojgar Diwas organized at Manas Bhawan, on Thursday. Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh chaired the function.
During the programme, loan sanction letters worth Rs 136.43 crore were distributed to 4591 beneficiaries under various self-employment schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Singh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants county’s youth to be self-reliant. To materialize PM’s intentions, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is making untiring efforts to provide employment to the youths. He said the State Government is conducting job fairs across the State to ensure livelihood for the youth.
Singh said the Prime Minister has called upon youth to become job providers and not just job seekers. He said the youths can become employers only when they stand firmly on their feet and start their own business. For the same, the government is providing various types of loan facilities to support them. He said loans have been distributed through
employment fairs and the government and local administration are helps remove the problems if faced in getting loan. He termed such efforts as effective for providing employment to youth and wished those who want to start a new business in coming time. Those also present on the occasion were Collector Saurabh Kumar Suman, General Manager Industries Vineet Rajak, District Employment Officer M S Markam and a large number of beneficiaries.
