Newly constructed police residential quarters were inaugurated in a graceful ceremony in Civil Lines, on Friday. Total 56 residential quarters for constables and head constables have been constructed with the budget of Rs 10.16 crore.
Chief guest on the occasion was MLA, Ashok Rohani while Additional DGP (Jabalpur Zone), Umesh Joga, DIG (Jabalpur), RRS Parihar, SP, Siddharth Bahuguna were specially present.
Madhya Pradesh Housing, Project Engineer, Sudhir Shrivastava informed that the 56 multy storey residential quarters have been constructed in third phase of Mukhya Mantri Police Awas Yojana by Madhya Pradesh Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
Constables quarters have a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen, toilets, wash area, balcony and other facilities in 700 sq ft area. Besides this, the residential complex has been catered with fundamental facilities like concrete road, entrance gate, sewer lines, landscaping, parking, water supply, electricity supply, CCTV cameras, two lifts, diesel generator, fire fighting system, fire alarm etc. Special attention has been given on quality of construction works.
On the occasion, Additional SP (South), Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, Additional SP (Rural), Shivesh Singh Baghel, CSP, Omti, RD Bharadwaj, Reserve Inspector, Saurabh Tiwari, SHO, Cantt, Arvind Choube, SHO, Adhartal, Shailesh Mishra and others were present.
