A number of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, workers and citizens participated in the Vikas Yatra taken out in Indira Gandhi Ward under West Legislative Assembly on the concluding day, on Saturday. During the Yatra party workers apprised general public about the welfare schemes being run by the Central and State BJP Government.
Speaking on the occasion, Amar Mishra, State Co-convenor of Antyodaya Prakoshta said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are toiling hard to raise the living standard to poor and needy people. They are also running a number of schemes for the welfare of people of all sections of the society.
He said during Vikas Yatra party leaders, workers went to the public in 230 Assemblies across the State and benefited beneficiaries under various schemes. Bhumipoojan of a number of development works was also performed. Under the same, development works worth about Rs 30 crores were also approved for the Jabalpur West Assembly.
Amongst those present on the occasion were Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh, Harendra Jeet Singh, Dr Jitendra Jamdar, Amar Mishra, Abhilash Pandey, Rammurti Mishra, Surendra Rathore, Monu Patel, SDM, Tehsildar and other administrative officers.
