CM takes stern action in Junwani case, removes SP Dindori for negligence

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan acted tough on Junwani incident and ordered to remove SP, Dindori Sanjay Singh for negligence in taking prompt action in this sensational case. It may be recalled that incident of physical abuse and exploitation of minor girls staying in hostel and studying in schools run by JDES Committee at Junwani village of Amarpur block, was reported. The complain in this regard was registered by Bal Kalyan Simity President Advocate Dhanyakumari Vaishya. On her complain, case was registered against Principal Nan Singh Yadav, guest teacher Khem Chand, Savita Sister, Owner Father Sunny under Section 354, 354 (A) 1, 323, 34 and 7,8 POSCO Act, Juvenile Justice Act 75, 82, at Women Police station. Samnapur police had arrested Principal Nan Singh and three others are absconding.
This Missionary school at Junwani village was being run since many years and many complains were being received from inmates, students. The inmates girls informed that they are beaten blue and black by Father and Principal with bamboo stick, sometime students starts bleeding and sustain injuries also. Due to punishments, many students get ill. In hostel, girls inmates informed that Principal Nan Singh Yadav, Khem Chandra sexually exploits them and when they object Sister Savita also beat them with stocks. Father Sunny was aware of the wrongdoings of his subordinates and still he did not took any action against them. In this case, Samnapur police released one accused from the police custody. CM Chauhan took strong note of this negligence of Dindori police and decided to remove SP Sanjay Singh. Prior to this decision, government had suspended SHO, Samnapur police station Vijay Paatle and BEO, BRC of Amarpur block. National Child Welfare Commission has expressed anger on this incident of harassment and sexual harassment of minor age girls. In view of the negligence of Police in dealing with this case, National Child Commission Chairperson Priya Kanungo arrived at Dindori. Both national level organisation demanded for high level enquiry into the matter. The outgoing SP Sanjay Singh had earlier inform that that accused Principal was arrested and three others were absconding but on second day the accused Principal was set free. This information spread like wild fire. Social organisations staged massive protest against police for releasing the accused. The protestors stated that without the order of SP, T I cannot release the accused. State President of Gondwana Ganatantra party Aman Singh Porte and spokesperson Radheshyam Kokadia were booked on the charges of disrupting government work and giving life threatening abuses.
