RIDING on an unbeaten hundred from the blade of Sachin Katariya, Ruby Colts defeated Anurag Cricket Club Kamptee by 44 runs in final of the Guzder League ‘B’ Division (Group B) at VCA’s Kalamna Ground. In response to Ruby Colts’ 289-8 in stipulated 50 overs, Anurag were bowled out for 245 in 47.3 overs.

In the 50-overs tourney, organised by Vidarbha Cricket Association, Anurag CC won the toss and elected to field.

Katariya (117*; 96b), Rishikesh Jondhalekar (48; 59b) and Sanjog Binkar (41; 25b) batted well. to take the score close to 300. For Anurag, Dinesh Yadav (3-45) and Salim Khan (2-71) took wickets. Anurag started off well as Himanshu Shinde (83; 73b), Rishabh Shukla (47; 74b) and Sagar Singh (40; 67b) tried their best. For the winners, Aditya Yadav (3-36) and Dharmendra Thakur (3-47) took three wickets apiece.
