DHIRAJ Tutheja and Ramdayal Jaiswal (popularly known as IM Jaiswal) demonstrated splendid game as they reigned supreme over Rahul Sharma and Gautam Kale in the ongoing Adv MK Naidu Memorial Snicket League at the Billiards Room of Central Provinces Club. Tutheja and Jaiswal amassed 148 against which Sharma-Kale duo could manage 38. Anand Rai and Abhishek Thakur continued to defeat their opponents by innings. In the match between RaiThakur against Abazar Chimthanwala and Ajitsingh Chawala, the former scored 249 against which their opponents could muster 55.
 
The match between Abhishek Rai-Sunil Kamwani against Manoj Jain-Aaditya Parekh witnessed a very interesting turn of events when both the teams headlogged for a tie and extra shots had to be played. In the supershots scenario, both the teams were given six shots each, wherein, Kamwani demonstrated his command over the cue and made a single break of 53. Rai-Kamwani duo won the match by scoring 195 against which JainParekh could fetch 121. In all 60 players consisting of 30 teams are participating in the tournament. In the first round being played in league format, total 60 matches are being played. In second round, 30 matcheswould be played again inleague format. The thirdround will be knock-outround and six teamswould qualify for knockout round. Subsequentthereto, a round calledqualifier for finals wouldbe played and the winnersthereof would straightway qualify for finals. Theother two teams wouldplay the next round — theeliminator round. Thewinner of eliminatorround would qualify forUnion Minister Anurag Thakur final.
