NAGPUR Cricket Academy (NCA) thumped SB City Cricket Association by eight wickets to win the AK Gandhi Memorial Inter-Academy U-13 cricket tournament. In the final, SB City won the toss and elected to bat. They were shot out for 112 in 36.4 overs. Viraj Verma top-scored with 36 runs that came from 105 balls. Opener Divyansh Mishra (12) was the only other batter to score in double digits. For NCA, Divyansh Shahurkar took three wickets in his 8 overs for 32 runs while Tanmay Pawar picked three for nine from his 6 overs. Veer Donode scalped two while two batters were run out. NCA reached the target of 113 losing just two wickets in 20.5 overs. NCA lost opener — Tanmay Pawar (9) and Samarth Nathani (10) with 43 on board but Prashant Gautam (41 of 56) and Aryan Rathod (39 runs of 34) took their team to victory. For the losing side, Anukalp Wankhede and Harman Singh chipped in with a wicket each. Divyansh Shahurkar was named as man of the match.
 
Prashant Vaidya, Chairman, CADC, VCA was chief guest of the prize distribution function. Hemant Gandhi, former Secretary, VCA and Chandrakant Manke, Joint Secretary VCA were the guests of honour. Nagpur Shikshan Mandal President Mohit Shah and Secretary Dr Harish Rathi were the patrons while the organising committee included Dr Rahul Kharabe, Dr Sanjay Chaudhary, Kalpana Mishra, Ashish Gharde, Satpal Thakur, Kapil Singh, Gautam Vaidya and Sandip Neware.
