VIKRAM Batra missed a century but helped Royal Cricket Association (RCA) thrash Ruby Sporting Club in the ongoing Guzder League C Division Cricket Tournament organised by Vidarbha Cricket Association. Batra’s 82 runs helped RCA post 273 runs in 47.3 overs. Ruby could manage 148 as they were bundled out in 36.1 overs, thanks to some fine bowling from Vishal Bhagat who snared four wickets. Put in to bat first, RCA got off to a shaky start but still managed to score 273 runs. Opener and captain PrathamNagdive scored 55 runs from47 deliveries which had fourboundaries and three sixes. Later, Batra used hisexperience and hit 82 runsfrom 97 deliveries whichcontained six balls to thefence. Manish Gaur toobatted well for his 68 from77 balls and seven foursand a six. In reply, Ruby Sporting Clubwere rattled by Vishal Bhagat’sfiery spell as he took four wickets conceding 39 runs from seven overs. Girdhar Charmore topscored with 46 runs for Ruby
