THE hockey team of Principal Accountant General, Nagpur, Maharashtra, which emerged champions in the recently concluded Indian Audit & Accounts Department (IA&AD) West Zone Hockey Tournament at Jaipur, Rajastan, was felicitated by Praveer Kumar, Principal Accountant General (A&E), Nagpur Maharashtra. He also wished the team for the IA&AD Inter-Zone Hockey tournament which is slated to be held in Punjab, Chandigarh from March 28. In the West Zone competition, PAG, Nagpur defeated PAG Gwalior in the final 3-0. Avesh Ansari was named man of the series while Parvez Qureshi was declared best goalkeeper of the tournament. Gunwant Irkhede of PAG, Nagpur was bestowed with Lifetime Achievement Award for his valuable contributions to AGRC, Nagpur hockey team.
