ANAND Rai and Abhishek Thakur halted the winning run of Kunal Shukul and Vidhaan Sharma after registering a close win in the ongoing Late Adv MK Naidu Snicket Tournament hosted by CP Club and supported by Advocate Prakash Naidu. Rai and Thakur put brakes on Shukul and Sharma with a narrow nine points win over Shukul-Sharma pair. With both the teams already qualified for the second round, Rai and Thakur took the match to fine-tune their skills and scored 156 points. Shukul and Sharma too potted well but lost the plot narrowly as they managed to score 145 points thus losing the match by nine points. In another match between two qualified teams, Abhishek Jain and Ashish Sharma beat Brajesh Khemka and Jatin Kale. Jain and Sharma scored 138 against which Khemka-Kale pair managed 129. In the match, Jain potted nine reds in one go.
