Manish Singh takes charge as Public Relations chief

In a minor but significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the State Government appointed IAS officer Manish Singh as Commissioner of Public Relations who was MD of MP Industrial Development Corporation Limited and MD Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited with additional charge of Public Relations and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Madhyam. The Government issued posting orders of four IAS officers on Wednesday. Among them, Raghvendra Kumar Singh, has been shifted as Principal Secretary Mineral Resources Department. Secretary of Chief Minister Vivek Porwal has been given additional responsibility of Secretary, Public Relations Department.
Navneet Mohan Kothari, waiting for posting, has been given responsibility of MD (Managing Director), MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC). Nikunj Srivastava will be relieved of this responsibility when Raghvendra Singh takes charge of Principal Secretary, Minerals. While Vivek Porwal has been given additional charge of Secretary Public Relations along with Secretary to Chief Minister, Cooperation, Aviation.
Principal Secretary, Public Relations, Raghvendra Singh has been made Principal Secretary, Mineral Department, while Secretary to Chief Minister Vivek Porwal has been given additional responsibility of Secretary, Public Relations Department. Navneet Mohan Kothari, an IAS officer, awaiting posting after coming back from deputation to the Government of India, has been made the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation.
In cleanliness of Indore, IAS officer Manish Singh has received Prime Minister’s Excellence Award for year 2021 while being Indore Collector after earning recognition as a hard task master. Today, Indore has a separate identity across the country in terms of cleanliness. Full credit for this goes to Manish Singh. As a Collector, his working style also remained the same when he got the money cheated by the land mafia of Indore to public and also took strict action against hoarders. In last several years, Collector Singh has worked as head of departments like Indore Development Authority, MP Industrial Development Corporation, Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board.
